On October 8, 2026, AgState awarded Elderbridge a $1,200 grant, matched by Land O’Lakes for a total of $2,400 to support Elderbridge’s 2027 Slam Dunk Against Hunger Online Auction. The funds will help provide meals for low- to middle-income older adults and adults with disabilities.
Formed in 2021 through the merger of ALCECO/Ag Partners and First Cooperative Association, AgState builds on a cooperative legacy dating back to 1887. Today, it serves Iowa producers with agronomy, grain, feed, energy, and risk-management services.

Together, these contributions will help provide nutritious meals throughout Elderbridge’s 29-county service area. The Administration for Community Living reports that one in two older adults is at risk of malnutrition, highlighting the importance of access to nutritious meals.
