Emmet County Community Foundation committee presented a $5,000 grant check to Elderbridge Agency on Aging. The grant will support Elderbridge’s Client Assistance Program.

On June 8, 2025, members of the Emmet County Community Foundation committee, (Megan Spurgin, Athlyn Black, Robin Enerson, and Bob Grems), presented a $5,000 grant check to Sue Anne Stoermer, Public Relations Coordinator of Elderbridge Agency on Aging. The grant was awarded during a ceremony at the VFW Hall in Estherville and will support Elderbridge’s Client Assistance Program.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Emmet County Community Foundation for their vital support. This generous grant will directly assist older adults (60+) and individuals with disabilities (18-59) in Emmet County facing urgent, unmet needs. This funding will help with critical expenses such as emergency shelter, food, job loss assistance, medication copays, equipment not covered by insurance, and essential safety items during unexpected hardships.

Elderbridge is sincerely grateful to the Emmet County Community Foundation for supporting our mission and enabling us to serve those most in need.
