Bertha Stebens Charitable Foundation Awarded Elderbridge a $5,000 Grant to Support Client Assistance Services for Older Adults and Adults with Disabilities.

On May 18, 2026, the Bertha Stebens Charitable Foundation awarded Elderbridge a $5,000 grant to support client assistance services for older adults and adults with disabilities. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to strengthening the well-being, safety, and independence of the individuals we serve in our communities.

Client assistance funding helps older adults and adults with disabilities remain safe and independent at home by providing support for essential needs and services. This may include homemaker services, chore services, respite care, transportation, meals, groceries, utilities, medical equipment, medical supplies, and nutritional supplements. Funding may also support safety-related items such as emergency alert systems, ramps, and grab bars, as well as assistive technology that helps reduce isolation. Additional supports, including mobility and bathroom aids, ergonomic seating, and adjustable beds, can further enhance comfort, safety, and quality of life.

This investment from the Bertha Stebens Charitable Foundation strengthens Elderbridge’s ability to help older adults and adults with disabilities remain supported, safe, and independent in their homes and communities.
