Bertha Stebens Charitable Foundation Awarded Elderbrige a Grant Award of $3,000 for the Client Assistance Program

The Bertha Stebens Charitable Foundation awarded Elderbrige a grant award of $3,000 for the Client Assistance Program. Client assistance serves low to moderate-income Iowans 60+ and adults with disabilities ages 18-59. Funding will be used for food, emergency shelter, utilities, transportation, and durable and non-durable supplies, Home modifications include ramps, installation of safety bars, and home repairs to prevent falling. Technology such as a Grandpad tablet, or a robotic pet, to help clients combat loneliness and social isolation are other examples.
