The Hanson Family Foundation Awarded Elderbridge Agency on Aging a Grant of $10,000 for the Client Assistance Program

The Hanson Family Foundation awarded Elderbridge Agency on Aging a grant of $10,000 for the Client Assistance Program. Funding will be used to support older Iowans, caregivers, and adults with disabilities with unmet needs. Unmet needs may include food, shelter, utilities, transportation, home modifications and repairs such as ramps, and installation of safety bars, to prevent falling. Technology such as a Grandpad tablet, or a robotic pet, to help clients combat loneliness and social isolation are other examples.
