Thank You First Citizens Bank Foundation

Mason City, Iowa – January 21, 2025 – On behalf of Elderbridge, Vice President Steve Kruse today gratefully accepted a $4,000 grant from Wendy Rish of the First Citizens Bank Foundation. This vital funding will directly support the purchase of an additional agency vehicle, significantly enhancing Elderbridge’s ability to serve the needs of seniors and adults with disabilities across North Iowa.

Elderbridge staff and volunteers dedicate countless hours to providing essential services, including in-home counseling, support at congregate meal sites, and community outreach through educational presentations and collaborative meetings. These efforts often require extensive travel.

Due to limited agency vehicles, staff and volunteers have frequently relied on their vehicles for agency-related travel. The addition of a new vehicle will alleviate this strain on personal resources and ensure the efficient and reliable delivery of critical services to our clients.

“We are incredibly grateful to the First Citizens Bank Foundation for this generous support,” stated Steve Kruse, Vice President of Elderbridge. “This grant will make a real difference in our ability to reach those in need and continue our mission of providing high-quality services to seniors and adults with disabilities in North Iowa.”
