Alliant Energy Awarded Elderbridge Agency on Aging a $2,000 grant for Client Assistance

On December 15, 2025, Alliant Energy awarded Elderbridge Agency on Aging a $2,000 grant for Client Assistance.

These funds will support older adults 60 and above and individuals with disabilities between the ages of 18-59 who have unmet needs. Client Assistance funding plays a crucial role in preventing hospitalizations. Many Iowans face crises such as the loss of a spouse, homelessness, job loss, financial exploitation, and other challenging circumstances.

The grant money will be used towards a variety of essential services and needs. This may include food, emergency shelter, security devices, safety bars, ramps, home repairs, medication copays, replacement of broken appliances, and assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, cooking, cleaning, laundry, and more.

On behalf of the Elderbridge Board of Directors, staff, and clients we serve, thank you, Alliant Energy for your gift and support of the Elderbridge mission.
