Farrer Endowment Foundation Awarded Elderbridge $5000.00 for Emergency Shelf-Stable Meals for Homebound Clients in North Iowa

On November 7, 2024, the Farrer Endowment Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant to the Elderbridge Agency on Aging. This funding will support the provision of Emergency Shelf-Stable Meals for homebound clients in North Iowa. These meals ensure essential nutrition for older adults when congregate meal sites close due to inclement weather, unavailable volunteers, or equipment issues. Elderbridge extends it’s sincere appreciation to the Farrer Endowment Foundation for their generous support of our mission.
