Elderbridge Agency on Aging Received a $5,000 Grant from the Dickinson County Endowment Fund to Support the Iowa Return to Community Program

On September 12, 2024, Elderbridge Agency on Aging was honored to receive a $5,000 grant from the Dickinson County Endowment Fund to support the Iowa Return to Community Program.

A special ceremony was held at Camp Foster YMCA Camp in Spirit Lake, where Ryan Schmitz, DCEF Advisory Council Member, presented a check to Beth Will, Elderbridge Board Member, and Stacia Timmer, Chief Operating Officer.

The grant will provide crucial resources to assist older Iowans who are transitioning from hospital or nursing home settings back to their homes in Dickinson County. These funds will be used for home-delivered meals, medical equipment, and supplies, home modifications like floor repairs and safety bar installation, ramps, personal emergency response systems, and more.

We are deeply grateful to the Dickinson County Endowment Fund Council members for their continued support of the Elderbridge mission. Thank you for empowering older adults and enhancing their quality of life. Your generosity will make a significant difference.
