Prairie Meadows Community Betterment has awarded a $20,000 grant to the Elderbridge Agency on Aging to support the Emergency Shelf Stable Meals

Prairie Meadows Community Betterment has awarded a $20,000 grant to the Elderbridge Agency on Aging to support the Emergency Shelf Stable Meals program in our region. This program provides meals to homebound adults with limited mobility, frail elderly individuals, and those with health conditions that make it difficult for them to leave their homes regularly. These shelf-stable meals meet the nutritional needs of vulnerable clients.

Prairie Meadows, a nonprofit organization established in 1989, aims to promote economic development, jobs, agriculture, and tourism in Iowa. Through taxes and charitable donations, Prairie Meadows has contributed $2.2 billion to the state.

On behalf of our board of directors, staff, and the clients we serve, we thank Prairie Meadows for your generous donation and support in helping us fulfill the Elderbridge mission.
