Elderbridge Thanks First Citizens Bank Foundation

The Charitable Foundation of First Citizens National Bank has once again this year provided Elderbridge Agency on Aging a generous donation to be used to help disabled and elderly north Iowans.

The Elderbridge Material Aid Fund received a $5,000 contribution from First Citizens, after receiving a similar grant from the Foundation last year. In 2017 the funds went to help low income disabled people like Robert and Beverly.

Material aid helped Robert buy a special pair of shoes in order to help him to keep walking. Beverly also has mobility issues and had an electric wheelchair that stopped running due to a dead battery. Funds from the First Citizens Bank donation helped get Beverly a new battery so she could continue getting around on her own.

The First Citizens Charitable Foundation was organized for distribution of funds to charitable, religious, educational and health care institutions in the North Iowa counties of  Worth, Mitchell, Howard, Hancock, Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Wright, Franklin, Chickasaw and Butler.

Thanks again to the First Citizens Charitable Foundation for supporting the Elderbridge mission of empowering older Iowans and adults with disabilities to live with dignity and independence.
