Wearing Jeans Helps Feed Spencer’s Home Bound

Thank you to Farmers Trust and Savings Bank from Elderbridge Agency on Aging!

To wear blue jeans to work one Friday a month, employees at Farmers Trust and Savings Bank in Spencer donate $5 for that privilege. A fun thing for bank workers, but also done with a helping hand and a giving heart for their fellow community members.

The employee jeans fund raised $170. That amount was then matched by the bank itself for a total donation to Elderbridge of $340, going to our Home Delivered Meals Program.

This the second recent donation that the Elderbridge Home Delivered Meals program has received from Farmers Trust and Savings Bank. In November, our agency was awarded $1000 as part of $30,000 the bank gave to local non-profits to recognize their 100 years in the banking business in the Spencer community.
