Tai Chi for Arthritis classes are proven to help you live better with arthritis. The Tai Chi exercise program is suitable for every fitness level and will help you reduce pain and stiffness while increasing strength, flexibility and stamina. The Tai Chi for Arthritis program can also help to improve balance and decrease the risk of falls along with improving physical function and mobility. Tai Chi classes are suitable for those with arthritis and other medical conditions, anyone wanting to improve balance and coordination, and/or those wanting to maintain or improve mobility.
The Tai Chi classes will take place at the Spencer Area Activity Center and will continue every Tuesday for 16 weeks. The term Tai Chi although originally conceived as a martial art, it is also typically practiced for a variety of other personal reasons including increased flexibility, stress relief and to help achieve greater longevity. As a result, a multitude of training forms exist, both traditional and modern.
